The pictures have been taken by the EP-Media Service.

Together with the European Parliamentary Research Service (EPRS) the open event has been organised 11th July 2017 in the library of the European Parliament in Brussels.

Four introducing remarks about a critical analysis of CJEU Opinion 2/13, the possible legal paths forward, the current state of negotiations and the position of the Council have been provided by Prof Hakenberg, Dr Caiola, Prof Porchia and Prof Callewaert.

Especially the different points of view from the Council, the Court of Human Rights, the European Court of Justice and the European Parliaments have been very interesting for the 100 participants, who joint the event. The debate was moderated by Karolina Rokicka from ERA and Ignacio Diez Parra from the EPRS.
